Working Supervisor Yorktown Custodial- Yorktown, VA

Position Purpose:
The Government Contracts Supervisor is charged with assisting in the operations of the Government Contract and ensures that all work is performed in accordance with the statement of work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility Resources and the U.S. Government.

Primary Duties:
- Directly responsible for the immediate supervision of Contract employees
- Directly responsible for ensuring quality customer service which includes direct interaction with customers,
- Directly responsible for promoting and maintaining positive lines of communication with various contacts including customers, FSO and other Government personnel
- Directly responsible for staying current on all policies and procedures of VersAbility Resources, governmental agencies and the specific contract site requirements. Communicates any issues and/or concerns immediately to appropriate management officials
- Assists the Manager to ensure the contract complies with all safety requirements including proper maintenance, education and communication of information
- Assists the manager to ensure proper vendor relations including, but not limited to; accurate recordation of invoices, proper pricing, proper inventory levels and ordering scheduling
- Assist the Manager in monitoring and updating IEE data information and communicating results, issues or other pertinent information to appropriate VersAbility staff
- Serve as Back up to Managers during absences.

Qualifications/Skills Knowledge & Abilities:
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
Experience: Prior supervisory experience required. Two to five years of experience in custodial service preferred.
Experience working with people with disabilities highly preferred.
Valid Virginia Driving license required, and must be insurable under VersAbility’s auto insurance.
Skills Knowledge & Abilities:
- Must have knowledge of procedures involved in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to work virtual error free under the stress of time constraints to complete specific tasks.
- Must have the ability to multi-task independently
- Must be able to demonstrate patience while training others that require repeated cuing
- Must be able to use a computer proficiently for typing of reports, communicating via email, etc.
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Physically able to assist individuals in personal care or behavior management training programs
Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or other non-level surfaces. Recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
Must be able to lift independently fifty (50) pounds, bend through a full range of motion and stand for extended periods of time.
Environmental: The incumbent typically works in an indoor environment in areas of extreme heat and cold for extended periods of time.
